Awakening Yoga is a progressive Yoga system rooted in Hatha Vinyasa with an emphasis on ritual & self inquiry.

We pay homage to the traditional nature of the Yoga practice with a practical and functional approach to asana built for today's bodies and minds. This practice encourages personal exploration, potentiality, and freedom of movement from both the teacher and the student.

This practice is built on the foundation of ritual asana with a focus on functional movement and individualized alignment. By acknowledging that each body is unique, powerful, and purposeful, this practice provides room for students to better understand their own physicality.

We are multifaceted, and so is our practice.

Lunar & Mobility Flow

The Lunar & Mobility approaches are founded on the belief that we are all designed to move. That movement exists in every plane, and thus so must we. Utilizing an array of principles from movement, somatics, functional mobility, and asana we use this practice to expand our perceptions of possibility and our capacity for exploration.

The Lunar Flow Practice includes considerably less weight-bearing shapes and focuses primarily on joint mobility, spacial awareness, and individual range of motion exploration.

Our Mobility practices borrow tenants from our Lunar Flow's paired Functional Range Systems & Kinstretch Principles to create a cohesive & expansive class experience.

Rest & Restore

The Restore pillar of our practice is fundamentally about Santosha. Cultivate contentment in your journey, your body, your practice.

We weave together patient, rejuvenating practices such as Mellow Flow, Restorative, Yin Yoga, and Yoga Nidra to guide our nervous systems into blissful balance.
